Fiorentina announced on its official website on Monday that the club has signed Italian center forward Roberto Piccoli from Cagliari.
According to Fiorentina's official statement, Piccoli has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2029. He will also wear the number 91 jersey.
About Roberto Piccoli
The 24-year-old Piccoli was born on January 27, 2001, in Bergamo, Italy. He is 1.90 meters tall and plays as a center forward.
Picoli joined the youth academy of his hometown club, Atalanta, at the age of 13 and completed his Atalanta first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in April 2019.
From the following summer until the first half of 2024, Piccoli was successively loaned-out to Spezia, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Empoli, and Lecce.
In July 2024, Piccoli was loaned-out to Cagliari, and his rights were officially bought out two months ago for €12 million.
Last season, Piccoli made 41 appearances for the Serie A club across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 7 assists.
