Lazio announced on its official website on Monday that the club's former Italian head coach Marco Baroni has been sacked and former renowned experienced head coach Maurizio Sarri has returned as the club's new head coach.

About Maurizio Sarri

The 66-year-old Sarri was born in Naples, Italy on January 10, 1959. He is 1.85 meters tall and played as a center back during his playing career.

Sarri has previously coached Sansovino, Pescara, Arezzo, Hellas Verona, and Empoli among other clubs, and led the latter to be promoted to the Serie A.

In June 2015, Sarri replaced former legendary Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez as Napoli head coach.
