New York Knicks center Anthony Towns recently talked about his future career goals in an interview and insisted that he will continue to work hard to improve himself and continue to pursue winning an NBA championship.
Anthony Towns, 29, was traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the New York Knicks in October 2024. In the 2024/25 NBA regular season, Anthony Towns played 72 games for the New York Knicks, averaging 24.4 points per game, shooting 52.6% from the field and 42.0% from three-point range.
It is worth mentioning that Anthony Towns has been selected to the NBA All-Star team five times, but has yet to win an NBA championship. With the new season approaching, this will also be Anthony Towns' 11th season playing in the NBA.
Anthony Towns said, "I know everyone wants me to use words to describe it, but there are no words to describe how much I want a championship ring, and it doesn't need words to express it."
Facing external criticism, Anthony Towns said, "All criticism is actually a good thing. It gives me a chance to figure out what I need to work on and improve when I return to the training hall."
"Every year I prove to the fans, the sports world and the NBA that I am always striving to reach another level and constantly reinvent myself and improve for the success of this team. I will continue to do this until I get a championship ring."
