Arsenal will host Brentford at the Emirates Stadium in the 14th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season. Manager Mikel Arteta stated that his team must dominate the game and called on the fans to fight like beasts to help Arsenal secure a victory.
In the last round of the Premier League, Arsenal, after falling behind, managed a 1-1 draw away to Chelsea thanks to a goal from Merino assisted by Saka. With three wins and two draws in their last five matches, Arsenal currently sits atop the table with 30 points, two points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said at a press conference, "Tomorrow will be an opportunity for everyone to come to the Emirates Stadium and inject energy to win the game. It is very important that the fans act like beasts to get everyone in the stadium moving and beat Brentford."
In addition, Brentford, managed by Keith Andrews, are currently 12th in the standings with 19 points, and defeated Burnley 3-1 in the last round.
Arteta stated, "As everyone knows, Brentford can pose different threats and present different challenges, and if you want to win, you must dominate in these areas."
“Our motivation comes from our preparation, from the preparation we do for every game, and from trying to be better than our opponents. Looking at where we are in the league and what we are doing, I don’t think we need any additional motivation.”
Arteta added, "I don't know which team in the Premier League doesn't want to score from set pieces. We conceded a goal from a set piece in our previous game against Chelsea. They had seven corners, we had eight. I think we should all be set-piece teams because all teams score from set pieces and concede from set pieces, which is the unfortunate part."
