Ben Doak says he has successfully integrated into the daily life at Bournemouth despite having to work behind the scenes. The 19-year-old joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in August.  

From that moment on, the winger from Dalry provided his first assist for Andoni Iraola's side, showing remarkable composure against Fulham to set up Antoine Semenyo on a quick counter-attack in a 3-1 victory.  

Last month, Ben Doak performed brilliantly in Bournemouth's 2-2 draw with Leeds United, helping the team secure a crucial point in the final moments of the game. During this international break, Ben Doak played two World Cup qualifiers for Scotland, starting against Greece and Belarus as they secured two consecutive victories under Steve Clarke.  

Ahead of his international break, the striker spoke about his love for his new surroundings at Bournemouth on the south coast. "I'm really enjoying life here and have settled into the team really well. I feel really comfortable with my teammates," he said.  

"I've had some challenges recently and I hope to get more playing time in the Premier League. It's become part of my daily routine and I feel like I'm spending more time here. The guys here are fantastic and I'm enjoying my time with them."  

"The head coach sets very high standards for me. I am doing my best to earn his trust and hope he can rely on me. I will do my best to show my abilities in training. As long as I keep working hard, I believe I can become a member of the team."  

Ben Doak added that he is also actively improving his defensive skills to better help the team. He said: "My discussions with the coaching staff mainly focus on defensive performance in the game. This is the part I have been focusing on and constantly improving."  

"I now understand that this is the key to whether I can integrate into the team. I hope to show my ability at the right time. But the most important thing is still defense. This is the top priority."
