The 36th round of the 2024-25 Premier League is about to start. Brentford will challenge Ipswich City away. Coach Thomas Frank updated the team's injury situation.

At the pre-match press conference, Frank said: "All the players who could play in the last game against Manchester United will continue to play with the team. We included Igor Thiago in the big list against Manchester United and let him play, which made us very satisfied."

"He has passed the most difficult stage and is gradually resuming his training rhythm. However, he cannot be arranged to start at the moment. We did speed up his comeback because we were in urgent need of manpower."

"He trained well this week and will continue to be observed next week. He needs to be in full fitness before returning to the starting lineup."

Full-back Aaron Hickey, who has not returned to the first team since his hamstring injury in October last year, played for Brentford U21 on Monday and assisted Paris Maghoma's goal as the team beat Barnsley U21 3-0.

Regarding Hickey's condition, Frank said: "He is getting close to returning. Although he will not be included in this round's roster for the time being, we hope that he can appear in the last two games at the end of the season."

In midfield, Vitaly Janelt has been ruled out for the season due to heel surgery. Fabio Carvalho is not expected to return this season due to poor recovery from a shoulder injury. As for Josh Dasilva, he is still out due to a knee injury.

Brentford's form has improved recently, defeating Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United, and is striving to achieve a winning streak at the end of the league. Brentford currently has 52 points and ranks 9th.
