Como 1907 have announced the signing of Spanish defender Alex Valle, formerly of FC Barcelona, on a contract that will last until 2029.  

Alex Valle moved from San Gabriel Football Club to the La Masia youth academy in 2014 and quickly emerged. In March 2022, he made his debut for the Barcelona B team and was then loaned to Andorra Football Club and Levante Football Club to accumulate more game experience.  

Alex Valle joined Celtic on loan last summer, making 11 appearances and providing 3 assists. Alex Valle joined Como on loan in January this year and has made 15 appearances so far, playing an important role in helping the club achieve a historic 10th place in Serie A.  

Como 1907 sporting director Carlalberto Rudi said: "Alex Valle has impressed us with his energy, ambition and talent since joining us. Confirming his permanent signing is an important step in our efforts to strengthen and enhance the squad. We are confident that his huge potential will have a positive impact on the team, as he has already shown."  

Como 1907 head coach Cesc Fabregas said: "Alex Valle is a very talented young defender, and he has proved this with his outstanding performance in the past six months. He quickly integrated into the team's tactical system and showed excellent ability on both offense and defense. Como has signed this outstanding player of the same age, who is of great significance to the team's future development."  

After completing the signing, Alex Valle said: "The past six months have been wonderful. I have adapted well to the environment here and I am very happy. I feel extremely honored and proud to continue to stay in Como. I look forward to the arrival of next season and I will be willing to do my best for the club."
