As the English FA Cup final enters the countdown, Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner admitted in the pre-match press conference that this game is of great significance and he is full of confidence in the game.

Facing the traditional powerhouse Manchester City, Glasner stressed that the team will stick to its own style, go all out, and step onto the Wembley stadium with faith. Glasner said: "Yes, we feel it. This is not just an ordinary game."

"We've had more interviews and more attention than usual throughout the week, but in terms of preparation, we haven't made any difference. Just like facing any Premier League game, quarter-final or semi-final, we focus on our performance.

"Although we analysed Manchester City, 90 per cent of the time we were talking about ourselves because what we can control is our own performance, whether it's possession or defence, our focus is always on ourselves.

Regarding the outside world's call for Crystal Palace to break its championship-less history, Glasner remained calm and cautious, saying: "I don't talk about 'what if we win' because we haven't won anything yet. We have a great game ahead and it's too early to talk about trophies now."

Despite this, Glasner is confident in the players' recent performance: "The players have been in very good shape in the past few weeks and we have only made a few tactical adjustments. Our goal is clear: go out on the pitch, show the style of Crystal Palace and win."

Crystal Palace has repeatedly missed out on trophies in recent years. Now that they are at Wembley again, Glasner hopes that this calm and confident team can write a new chapter with practical actions.
