David Moeller Wolff stated that Wolves' performance in the second half against Chelsea proved the team still possesses fighting spirit. However, he also acknowledged that to regain victory, the team must improve its overall performance. The Norwegian player made his first League Cup start since the second week of the season, and although the team lost 3-4 to Chelsea, he capitalized on his opportunities with a solid performance and his first two goals for the club.  

The two goals helped the team launch a comeback in the second half, although Wolves ultimately failed to force a penalty shootout. However, the defender stated that the team must carry that belief and resilience into Saturday's Premier League match against Fulham.  

After the match, David Müller Wolff said, "I think our team has outstanding character. During halftime, we looked at each other and communicated honestly. We could choose to give up, or we could choose to give it our all for the fans who have always supported us, for our families, and for our own honor. We showed great willpower in the second half, and I am incredibly proud to wear this jersey."  

"When the score became 4-2, it was perhaps easier to give up than at halftime. But we didn't give up; instead, we rallied, scored the third goal, and kept creating chances until the final whistle. So, it's really a shame we couldn't score a fourth goal."
