Dolan responds to Giannis trade rumors: He loves the current roster and will not make major adjustments.

Knicks owner James Dolan said on Monday that he is very happy with the team's current roster.

Trade rumors surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo have continued to circulate recently, with the New York Knicks considered one of the potential suitors. The two sides had initial contact as early as this summer, but failed to reach an agreement due to significant differences in offers and negotiating willingness.

As the only team Giannis Antetokounmpo is considering joining this summer, the Knicks' moves are naturally attracting much attention. In response, Dolan stated in an interview on "The Craig Catton Show" that he was unaware of any trade discussions between the Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks: "As far as I know, there haven't been any. We love our current team. The players have great chemistry and get along very well. I've never seen such a harmonious and vibrant locker room."

“Leon Rose (Knicks president) can overturn my decision at any time, but I don’t think the team will make any major changes. We must stick to building around the current roster—they have the ability to contend for a championship, and I have no doubt about that.”

The Knicks have had a strong start to the season and currently sit fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 23-13 record. Despite a recent four-game losing streak, Dolan's confidence remains unshaken: "Look how far our team went last year. And who was on the court and who was out was equally crucial. Injuries have had a significant impact on us. Now, in the second half of the season—Josh Hart is still recovering, and Landry Shamet is about to return—we have ample roster depth. If we stay healthy, we'll enter the playoffs in a much better form than last season."

Giannis Antetokounmpo also publicly stated last December that he had never communicated with the Bucks' management about potential trades: "I personally have not had any discussions with the Bucks. I am still focused on the team and my teammates."

Multiple sources indicate that Giannis Antetokounmpo will remain with the Bucks until at least the end of this offseason. So far this season, he has played 22 regular season games for the Bucks, averaging 29.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. Under Antetokounmpo's leadership, the Bucks currently sit 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 16-20 record.
