Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for his impeccable individual performance.

This marks Doncic's fourth time this season, his second consecutive week receiving this honor, and the 19th of his career. The 27-year-old superstar's stellar performance further confirms his MVP-caliber dominance this season.

During last week's perfect 4-0 road trip, Doncic displayed excellent form. He averaged 38.5 minutes per game, shooting 50% from the field and 39% from three-point range, racking up 42.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 3.0 steals.

Led by Doncic, the Lakers swept the Houston Rockets twice, and then defeated the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic in succession, achieving a nine-game winning streak.

This week, Doncic reached several historic milestones. In the away win against the Heat on March 19, he had a career-high 60 points, hitting nine three-pointers and becoming the seventh player in Lakers history to join the "60-point club".

Furthermore, Doncic not only surpassed Kobe Bryant and Jerry West in franchise history for most 35+ point games in a single season, but also recorded his fourth 40-point, 10-assist game of the season against the Rockets.

After ending his week with four consecutive 30+ point games, Doncic not only achieved a season milestone of 40 30+ point games, but also became the first player in NBA history to score 30+ points in consecutive games during his team's nine-game winning streak.

As the absolute core player who just broke the Lakers' franchise record for most three-pointers made in a single season, Doncic has started 59 games this season, averaging a league-high 33.4 points per game.
