The 2025/26 English League Cup quarter-finals saw Chelsea, playing away, defeat Cardiff City 3-1 thanks to goals from Garnacho and Pedro Neto.
Eleven minutes into the match, Chelsea attacked from a corner kick. Badiashile received the ball in the penalty area and unleashed a powerful shot, but the ball went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Terrence George crossed the ball into the box, but no teammate created a timely threat.
In the 24th minute, Cardiff City launched a counter-attack with a long pass. Isaac Davies received the ball and entered the penalty area, but his shot went wide.
