The Premier League ushered in Chelsea's match against Ipswich, and the two sides drew 2-2. Coach Enzo Maresca was satisfied with his team's performance in the second half as the team reversed Ipswich after falling behind by two goals.  

Chelsea took the lead after 19 minutes and had some chances, with Nicolajson hitting the post, Levi Colwell's header being saved and Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez both going close.  

Chelsea didn't get the goals they deserved as Julio Enciso scored as the game progressed and then Ben Johnson headed in to give them a two-goal lead at the end of the first half.  

Chelsea gradually turned the tide in the second half, with Axel Tuanzebe scoring the equaliser from close range, before Jadon Sancho equalised with 11 minutes remaining.  

Enzo Maresca said: "I think we started well and we created a lot of chances. But when they scored the first goal, the rhythm of the game was completely different. I felt that from that moment until the end of the first half, we didn't play very well, especially defensively."  

"We conceded two goals but we could have defended better. We probably lost some confidence because we were in control and playing well. We had to win the game so we lost confidence. At half-time I reacted because we couldn't do what we did in the first half."  

Enzo Maresca also said: "This game was really difficult. Facing such a strong team, if we scored the first goal within the first 20 minutes, the situation of the game would have changed. Unfortunately, we didn't seize the opportunity and then lost the ball."  

"Nevertheless, we have to keep looking forward and learn from this. We need to do the right thing and not let anything change our plans."  

"We showed our style in the second half, we blocked the opponent's attack and created a lot of chances. We launched attacks in the opponent's position and performed more energetically. It can be seen that our performance in the second half became better."
