Friendly match – Havertz scores penalty, Germany defeats Ghana 2-1


The German national team, nicknamed "The German Machine," played another friendly match at the Manchester Arena and defeated Ghana 2-1 after goals from Havertz and Winduff.


Four minutes into the match, Havertz cut the ball back from the penalty area, and Waltmar immediately fired a low shot, but the ball went wide. In the 6th minute, Germany had a free kick opportunity, and Liverpool midfielder Wirtz took the shot directly, but the ball went wide.


In the 11th minute, Germany's attack was cleared, and Jonathan Tah's volley in the penalty area went wide. In the 18th minute, Ghana attempted a counter-attack, with Kwasi Sibo receiving the ball and firing a long-range shot, but it posed no threat. In the 23rd minute, Wirtz took a corner, and Gnabry's powerful shot went wide.


In the 33rd minute, Waltmard received the ball in the penalty area and passed it back to Wirtz, who slotted it home. However, Waltmard was offside, so the goal was disallowed. In the 45th minute, Wirtz passed to Angelo Stiller, whose shot struck Ghanaian defender Ajetti's hand, resulting in a penalty for Germany. Havertz converted the penalty, giving Germany a 1-0 lead.


At the start of the second half, Germany substituted Lennart Karl, Windavf, and Rüdiger for Havertz, Gnabry, and Jonathan Tah. In the 51st minute, Nathaniel crossed from the penalty area, and Waltermad headed the ball, but it was caught by Ghanaian goalkeeper Asare. In the 53rd minute, Germany continued their attack, and Waltermad's header hit the post.


In the 63rd minute, Ghana created an attacking opportunity, with Jordan Ayew receiving a pass from Derek Kern and shooting, but his effort was blocked. In the 66th minute, David Raum took a free kick, but the ball went wide of the goal.


In the 70th minute, Derek Kern passed the ball back from the penalty area, and Fatau Issahaku followed up with a low shot to score, leveling the score at 1-1 for Ghana. In the 85th minute, Goretzka passed the ball while falling to the ground, and Lennart Karl's shot, despite facing the defense, went wide.


In the 88th minute, Sané headed the ball across the box, and Windav slid in to score, giving Germany a 2-1 lead. In stoppage time of the second half, Lennart Karl received a pass from Kimmich and fired a long-range shot, but the ball was saved by Ghanaian goalkeeper Asare.


In the end, Germany defeated Ghana 2-1 at home, achieving their second consecutive victory.
