Heidenheim completes contract extension with German defender Tim Siersleben..

Heidenheim announced on its official website on Tuesday that the club has extended the contract of its German defender Tim Siersleben.
According to Heidenheim's official statement, Siersleben has signed on a new three-year contract which runs until the summer of 2028.
After completing his contract extension procedures, Siersleben, who was interviewed by the Heidenheim official website again, said: "Heidenheim has quickly become my home. I love the club's family atmosphere and clear values. I fully identify with this and look forward to working together in the coming years. I will continue to give my all for Heidenheim."
About Tim Siersleben
Siersleben, 25, was born on March 9, 2000, in Magdeburg, Germany. He is 1.87 meters tall and primarily plays center back, but can also play as a defensive midfielder. His father, Frank, is Magdeburg's legendary East Germany international left-back.
Siersleben joined the youth academy of his hometown club Magdeburg at the age of six. Ten years later, he moved to Wolfsburg's youth academy and completed his Wolfsburg first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in May 2021.
In July of the same year, Siersleben was loaned-out to Heidenheim for two years, with his ownership rights officially bought out in July 2023.
Since joining Heidenheim, Siersleben has made 93 appearances for the Bundesliga club in all competitions so far, scoring three goals and providing three assists. During which he has helped the team win the 2. Bundesliga once and secured a surprise Champions League qualification.
