Suns guard Jalen Green will miss another game due to a recurrence of his hamstring injury.

Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green suffered a hamstring injury again after just two games back from injury, which is undoubtedly a major blow to the Suns who desperately need to solidify their roster.

In the previous game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Green suddenly stopped and showed signs of discomfort during a layup attempt in the first quarter. He was then helped off the court and confirmed that he would not return to this game.

This is Green's second time leaving the game this season due to a hamstring problem. At the beginning of the season, he missed the Suns' first eight games with the same injury, during which the team had a record of 3 wins and 5 losses.

Green's return was initially seen as key to boosting the Suns' backcourt firepower. In his first game back against the Clippers, Green scored 29 points in just 23 minutes, showcasing his explosiveness and star potential, raising high expectations for his integration into the system.

Suns head coach Jordan Ott stated after Green's return that it was remarkable for him to provide immediate offensive firepower after a long absence, and that he delivered on the team's expectations, even exceeding them. However, just one game later, Green went down again after playing 7 minutes and scoring 2 points, severely damaging the Suns' backcourt structure once more.

Green joined the Suns in a blockbuster multi-team trade involving Kevin Durant during the offseason and was considered one of the team's future core players and promising young stars. In his final season with the Houston Rockets, Green averaged 21 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, shooting 42.3% from the field and 35.4% from three-point range, helping the team maintain their second-place position in the Western Conference.
