Manchester United have officially confirmed that their star midfielder Casemiro will leave the club at the end of the 2025-26 season when his contract expires.

The Brazilian star, who has won the Champions League five times, is about to end his passionate English journey after four seasons at Old Trafford.

In the official video confirming his departure, the 33-year-old Casemiro expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the club and fans, emphasizing the special significance of this experience for him and his family.

“This is very significant…this is very special, and I will keep this club in my heart for the rest of my life,” Casemiro said. “In England, I am red (Red Devils), and I will be a Manchester United man until the day I die.”

Looking back, Casemiro still vividly remembers his first time at Old Trafford. On that night of victory against Liverpool, he experienced the deafening roar of the stadium for the first time. He said, "The first day I walked into the stadium, the fans were already chanting my name and my song. I will never forget that."

Despite his impending departure, Manchester United still have 16 games to play this season. Casemiro promised to do his best as a player and said this was not a final farewell: "This is not goodbye, it's just a chapter in my life, and I will always be with Manchester United."

Before his official farewell in May, Old Trafford fans still have plenty of time to pay their final respects to Casemiro, who will be wearing the number 18 jersey.
