Ultimately, Manchester City defeated Borussia Dortmund 4-1. With this second consecutive win, Manchester City currently sits in 4th place in the league standings with 10 points.

Manchester City midfielder Fredon said after the match, "I just need to play with a smile, and that's what I'm doing now. Last season was tough for me, and it was tough for everyone. This season we have a new cohesion, which was evident in this game. Dortmund did give us some problems; they are a great team. We stuck to our tactical plan and used our attacking talent to break them down."

“I was also surprised to get so much space. The key is to stick to my role and follow the manager’s instructions, as well as wait for the right attacking opportunity.
