Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was pleased with the performance of summer signing Alejandro Ganaccio ahead of their Carabao Cup fourth round clash and praised young defender Josh Acheampong's steady progression into the first team.

Chelsea will travel to Wolves in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, aiming to recover from their last Premier League loss to Sunderland in stoppage time. Last week, Ganacho scored his first goal for the club, a highlight of the match.

Maresca said in an interview that the Argentine winger from Manchester United is steadily adapting to the team's rhythm: "Garner is doing well. When he first came, his physical condition was not 100% recovered. We are adjusting step by step."

"He's been training hard every day and is getting better and better. We are very satisfied with his performance so far. He still has a lot to show, and we believe that as he fully integrates into the system, he will have a greater impact."
