The 2025 Club World Cup will be held at the MetLife Stadium, and French champions Paris Saint-Germain will compete with Premier League giants Chelsea for the championship. Enrique said they hope to win the championship to put a more perfect end to this season.

In the earlier semi-final, Paris Saint-Germain defeated La Liga giants Real Madrid 4-0 with goals from Fabian Ruiz, Dembele and Gonzalo Ramos, and successfully advanced to the final.

It is worth mentioning that in addition to winning the Ligue 1 and French Cup titles, Paris Saint-Germain also won the UEFA Champions League in the 2024/25 season.

As for Chelsea, Maresca's team won the UEFA European Association League in the 2024/25 season and eliminated Fluminense 2-0 in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.
