After ending his 10-year career with the Indiana Pacers, Turner changed his team for the first time. At the press conference, Turner admitted that it was not easy to leave his old team that had just reached the finals, but he was confident in this decision.

Turner said: "I hate the saying that the grass is not always greener on the other side. I believe that wherever I go, the grass is always greener. My girlfriend says I look good in green."
