Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Alexander Walker recently talked about the fans' support for him and the team in an interview, saying that he was deeply moved by the fans' thoughtful support.

In an earlier NBA playoff focus game, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Golden State Warriors 121-110 with goals contributed by Julius Randle, Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert, and eliminated their opponents with a total score of 4-1, successfully advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

Alexander Walker, 26, said, "In my community, many fans made their own signs and hung balloons, which meant a lot to me. When I went home, there were still chalk greetings on the ground, and I really wanted to say thank you to everyone to express my gratitude."

"Everyone took the time to do these small actions, like covering the signs with plastic bags to prevent them from getting wet even though they knew it was going to rain. I really felt the thoughtfulness and I'm very grateful."

Alexander Walker also said, “I am really grateful to the community and everyone in Minneapolis. This season has been full of ups and downs, but everyone has always been with us. The fans gave us the energy we needed during the playoffs, and we are very happy to share the joy of returning to the Western Conference Finals with the fans.”

When talking about head coach Chris Finch, Alexander-Walker shared, "In fact, in a way, it's like college basketball. I played under Buzz Williams in college. He never paid attention to the status of players. There is no such thing as if you are a star player, he will be lenient with you, and if you are a substitute, he will be strict with you."

"Chris Finch will do the same thing, he'll criticize me to my face, he'll criticize Anthony Edwards publicly, so all of us will be called out by him at some point."
