Nottingham Forest Football Club is pleased to announce that Omari Hutchinson has signed a five-year contract. The midfielder, who played a key role in England's U21 team's European Championship victory in Bratislava this summer, has signed a new five-year contract.  

Omari Hutchinson scored the team's second goal in the final, helping England U21 beat Germany 3-2 and eventually lift the championship trophy.  

The player joined from Ipswich Town and made his first full Premier League season in the 2024-25 season. In Ipswich Town's first season back in the top flight since 2002, he contributed 3 goals and 2 assists.  

Omari Hutchinson started his career at Arsenal before moving to Chelsea in 2022 and being loaned to Ipswich Town the following year. After helping Kieran McKenna lead the team to promotion, the winger officially joined the Suffolk club in pre-season.  

Omari Hutchinson is a very fast player who is good at one-on-one breakthroughs. He can play on both the left and right wings, or in the middle behind the striker.  

After signing, Omari Hutchinson said: "I'm incredibly excited to be joining this club and I can't wait to get out there and play for the team. I've played at the City Ground a few times and the atmosphere there is always exciting and fantastic, so I'm really looking forward to playing here alongside the fans."
