The 10th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season continued with a key match, with Manchester City defeating Bournemouth 3-1 thanks to goals from Haaland and Nico O'Reilly.

At the start of the match, Bournemouth immediately attacked after gaining possession. David Brooks crossed the ball into the box, and Klupi fired a low shot into the net, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. In the 11th minute, Manchester City midfielder Nico Gonzalez chipped the ball into the penalty area, and Haaland unleashed a shot, but the ball was caught by Bournemouth goalkeeper Petrovic.

In the 17th minute, Nico González passed the ball to Rajen Scherki, who headed it across to Haaland, who then sprinted into the penalty area and slotted the ball home, giving Manchester City a 1-0 lead.

In the 25th minute, Alex Scott's corner kick was deflected by Manchester City goalkeeper Donnarumma, and then Tyler Adams volleyed it into the net, helping Bournemouth equalize 1-1.

In the 33rd minute, Rajan Scherki chipped a pass to Haaland, who then entered the penalty area, rounded Bournemouth goalkeeper Petrovic, and slotted the ball into the net, giving Manchester City a 2-1 lead over Bournemouth. In the 50th minute of the second half, Bournemouth attempted a counter-attack. Semenho passed the ball back from the penalty area, and Krupi's shot was saved by Manchester City goalkeeper Donnarumma. Three minutes later, David Brooks passed the ball across, Alex Scott headed it on, and Krupi followed up with a shot, but the ball was again saved by Donnarumma.

In the 60th minute, Foden dealt with the defense and passed the ball to Nico Aureli, who then entered the penalty area and fired a low shot into the net, extending Manchester City's lead to 3-1. In the 67th minute, Foden created another attacking opportunity, but Rajan Scherki's curling shot went wide of the post.

In the 87th minute, Savio broke through the defense and passed back to Malmush, whose low shot hit the side netting. In second-half stoppage time, Reindes received possession in the penalty area and shot, but his effort was blocked by Chelsea goalkeeper Petrovic.

Manchester City ultimately defeated Bournemouth 3-1. With these three points, Manchester City now sits in second place in the standings with 19 points, six points behind leaders Arsenal.
