Rice says Arsenal have gained extra fighting spirit to win the title.

Arsenal, nicknamed "The Gunners," secured a 4-2 aggregate victory over Chelsea in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-final, thanks to a goal from Kai Havertz, thus earning their place in the final. England star Declan Rice stated that the team has gained extra motivation to win titles and is eager to go further in all competitions.

In the second half stoppage time, Rice passed the ball across the box, and Havertz dribbled into the penalty area, past Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, and shot the ball into the empty net, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead.

Arsenal ultimately defeated Chelsea 1-0 at home, putting them one step closer to the championship title.

Rice, who assisted Havertz's goal in this match, said, "To be honest, I have to give special praise to Chelsea. They have been performing really well since the new manager took over. They changed their formation and caused us a lot of trouble. In other matches, they might have scored, but they still deserve praise. Our defense was really outstanding."

“Our team is really hungry for victory, and we are prepared no matter who we face. Playing against a team like Chelsea puts a lot of pressure on us, both physically and mentally, so we must remain resilient and persevere.”

Rice also emphasized, "We deserve this victory. For the past three or four years, we have been competing at the top of the Premier League and have come close to the title many times, but we have always fallen just short. Therefore, this season we have an extra desire and fighting spirit to go further in every competition. It is still a long journey, but it is really great to have reached the final with this club."

In addition, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said in an interview, "I really enjoyed this moment, especially when we scored the winning goal in the final moments. I am very satisfied with the team's performance. We knew it would be a tough match, and both teams had a very high level of preparation and intensity."

“The conditions were very difficult, but we knew what we were fighting for. We showed resilience and judgment, and knew how to handle the game at different stages.”

Arteta also said, "Our home stadium creates a special atmosphere, which is a huge help. We have been waiting for this moment for several years, and this time the fans can come to support us instead of playing in an empty stadium like last time. We are really looking forward to it."
