On Friday night local time, Kings star DeMar DeRozan got into a physical altercation with a man at Dream Sushi restaurant in Calabasas, California.

According to TMZ's exclusive report and on-site video, the conflict started when a man approached DeRozan and shone a flashlight in his face. DeRozan then pushed the man down and tried to continue attacking him, but was stopped in time by a third party in a suit.

The man then stood up and asked for his phone, causing DeRozan to lose control of his emotions again. He pounced on the man again and tried to attack him, but fortunately a woman in gray intervened in time to stop him.

At the end of the video, DeRozan retreated to the other side of the restaurant, and the man continued to loudly demand that he return his phone. Eyewitnesses at the scene told TMZ that the conflict caused glassware and tableware in the restaurant to fly, and the man involved was eventually taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Although the video released by TMZ ended here, the incident did not end. The police confirmed to TMZ that they handled a case involving DeRozan at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday and have launched an investigation into the matter.

TMZ also contacted the Sacramento Kings about this matter, but had not received a response from the team as of press time.
