Totti Gomes said that despite failing to win the game, coach Vitor Pereira and all the Wolves players remained positive and focused on the positive aspects of the game.  

The defender, who was appointed the club's new captain before the game, saw City capitalise on almost every mistake Wolves made and punish them. On the offensive end, Wolves lacked effective finishing and ultimately suffered a 0-4 defeat.  

Despite the defeat, Totti-Gomez still spoke of the team's positive aspects after the game and promised that the team will improve before facing Bournemouth next weekend.  

Totti Gomes said: "We started well and created scoring chances in both the first and second half. We knew that against such an opponent, every key moment was crucial."  

"If the other team had had the chance in the same situation, they would not have missed it. However, we have now turned our attention to the next game. Next weekend, we must learn from this game and improve in other areas."  

“We have to review the video of the game carefully, find out where the problems are and work on improving. After all, this is only the first game of the Premier League. We still have a lot to improve and a lot to show.”
