Bundesliga – Adyemi and Brandt scored two goals in stoppage time, and Borussia Dortmund narrowly defeated Stuttgart 2-0.

In the 28th round of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season, Borussia Dortmund narrowly defeated VfB Stuttgart 2-0 away from home. They currently sit in second place with 64 points (19 wins, 7 draws, 2 losses), while Stuttgart is in fourth place with 53 points (16 wins, 5 draws, 7 losses).

After the start of the first half, Stuttgart quickly took the initiative. In the 13th minute, Valdemar Anton made a clearance error in the attacking third, and Chris Felice's long-range shot was easily saved by Gregor Kerber. In the 19th minute, Nicolas Natti's cross from the right wing was successfully cleared by Anton, who had tracked back into the penalty area, and Angelo Stiller's follow-up shot was also brilliantly saved by Kerber.

In the 35th minute, Stuttgart won a free kick just outside the penalty area, but Felice's shot went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Rami Bensebaini's clearance inside the penalty area was poor, and Felice's unmarked shot went just over the bar.

The second half began with both sides switching ends. In the 55th minute, Stiller cut the ball back from the right wing, and Lorenz Assignon broke into the penalty area before unleashing a shot that was blocked by Kerber. Neither side managed to score again until stoppage time: in the 90+4 minute, Julian Brandt broke down the right wing and delivered a cross. Julian Chabot's header clearance in the penalty area fell to Karim Adyemi's feet. Adyemi then accepted the gift and easily slotted the ball into the net.

In the 90+6th minute, Fabio Silva delivered a cross from the left wing, and Brandt unleashed a powerful shot from the right side of the penalty area to score. This sealed the victory for Dortmund, securing three valuable points away from home.
