In the 25th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Arsenal, playing at home at the Emirates Stadium, defeated Sunderland 3-0 thanks to goals from Martin Zuwemendy and Dzekeresh.

At the start of the match, Arsenal created an attacking opportunity. In the 74th minute, Rice played a through ball into the penalty area, but Eze's shot went wide of the post. In the 88th minute, Trossard suffered an injury and was replaced by Nelgaard after being unable to continue. In stoppage time of the second half, Martinelli entered the penalty area and passed the ball diagonally, and Dzekeresh seized the opportunity to push the ball into the empty net, helping Arsenal extend their lead to 3-0.

Arsenal ultimately secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sunderland at home. With this second consecutive win, Arsenal currently sit atop the league table with 56 points.
