Ajax announced on its official website on Wednesday that Liverpool's Czech international goalkeeper Vítězslav Jaroš has joined the club on-loan.
According to the Eredivisie giants' official statement, Jaroš will play for the club on-loan until the end of the new season, and the loan agreement does not include a buyout clause. At the same time, he will also wear the No. 1 jersey.
After completing his joining procedures, Jaroš, who was interviewed by Ajax's official website for the first time, said: "I am really very happy to be here. Ajax is a very big club."
"This is one of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands. It has produced many talented players who have become household names. Not only in the country, but also around the world, they can continue to develop generations of young and outstanding players, and have a gorgeous style of play, so I am naturally excited about the opportunity to become a member of Ajax."
It is worth mentioning that with this transfer, it also means that Jaroš will reunite with head coach Jonny Heitinga and former Reds legendary captain Jordan Henderson.
