Inter Milan defeated Slavia Prague 3-0 at home in the Champions League group stage, getting off to a good start at home in the Champions League this season and achieving four consecutive wins in all competitions.

Inter Milan secured victory thanks to a brace from Lautaro Martínez and a goal from Denzel Dumfries. After the match, coach Christian Chivu praised his team's performance.

He explained, "With only 72 hours between the two matches, I wanted to give opportunities to some players who had less playing time, while resting others to maintain balance and quality. I also had to consider Saturday's match and the national team commitments of some players later in the season."

Kifu expressed satisfaction and pride in the team's overall performance: "I never demand perfection, because I know it doesn't exist. But I saw the players' genuine commitment, and even when trying to adapt to unfamiliar roles and tasks, they demonstrated a sense of responsibility.
