Szoboszlai helped Liverpool win the game. Gravenberch: This free kick was amazing.

Thanks to a stunning free kick from Szoboszlai, defending champions Liverpool defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the third round of the new Premier League season, extending their winning streak to three games. Liverpool midfielder Gravenberch described it as the most beautiful free kick he had ever seen and marveled at it.

The score of this game changed in the 83rd minute of the second half. When Szoboszlai took the free kick, the ball flew over the wall and directly into the net, helping Liverpool take the lead 1-0.

Liverpool's defensive prowess subsequently held their ground, ultimately defeating a strong Arsenal team 1-0 at Anfield. With three points secured, Liverpool now sits atop the table with nine points, two ahead of second-placed Chelsea.

Talking about Szoboszlai's performance, Gravenberch shared, "I think I've never seen such a beautiful free kick in my life. It was amazing. It happened in the 83rd minute. If you can score a goal like this at a moment like this and then see the reaction of the fans, the atmosphere at the scene is crazy."

"I'm very happy for the three points. Arsenal is a very strong team with many excellent players. It was a difficult game, but I'm happy that we won it in the end."

Gravenberch said: "We had a really hard time pressing in the first half. The opponent always found a solution, and Rice and Martin Suwaymendi kept retreating to the midfield and caused us a lot of difficult moments. But in the second half, we changed the way we pressed and the effect became better."

"We switched to one-on-one marking in midfield, with Soboslai marking the left-back and Konate marking the left winger. That was much better because we could hardly contain them in the first half."

It is worth mentioning that in the second round of the Premier League in the new season, Gravenberch contributed a goal for Liverpool, and Slaughter's team relied on Ngumoha to score at the last minute and finally defeated Newcastle 3-2.

Looking back on Liverpool's performance since the start of the new season, Gravenberch said: "Bournemouth is a good team, and then away to Newcastle and then at home to Arsenal, I think this is one of the three toughest opponents to deal with, so we are really happy to get 9 points."
