First Half

In the 18th minute, Pedro Neto crossed into the box from the byline at the left wing. His pass was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by Thiago Silva. After quickly following up and picking up the loose ball, João Pedro quickly took long shot with his right foot from outside the penalty area and his shot flew straight into the upper right corner of the net. 7 minutes later, Hércules played a scintillating one-two with Germán Cano at the front. After successfully beating the offside trap, Hércules quickly followed up, received the latter's overhead pass and dribbled past the outrushing Robert Sánchez before pushing the ball with his right foot from a very close distance in the box, but his shot was blocked by Marc Cucurella in front of the goal line. Fluminense missed the golden opportunity to equalize Chelsea!

In the 36th minute, Fluminense got a free kick opportunity. René took the free kick by crossing into the box from outside the penalty area. The ball hits Trevoh Chalobah's left hand.
