Juventus easily defeated Napoli 3-0 on matchday 22 of the 2025/26 Serie A season at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Sunday.

In the first half, Thuram's powerful shot hit the crossbar, David scored from close range, and Conceição's close-range shot was blocked off the line. In the second half, Yıldız volleyed and scored, while Kostić added another with a long-range effort. Ultimately, Juventus secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Napoli. After this round of matches, I Bianconeri temporarily rises to 5th place with 42 points; defending champions I Partenopei temporarily sit in 4th place with 43 points, 9 points behind leaders Inter Milan.

First Half

In the 13th minute, Andrea Cambiaso cut the ball back from the byline at the right side of the box. After beatin the offside trap, Jonathan David quickly followed up before slotting the ball past the outrushing Alex Meret into the bottom right corner of the net from a very close distance of the box with his left-footed shot. Juventus broke the deadlock first to take a 1-0 lead! This was the Canadian international striker's 8th goal contributions in his last 10 matches!

Conceição quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before taking a left-footed shot from a very close distance in the box. But his shot was blocked off the goal line by Alessandro Buongiorno just in time. Juventus missed a golden opportunity to quickly extend their lead!

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 55th minute, Miguel Gutiérrez passes horizontally from the right wing. Leonardo Spinazzola quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps, before taking a right-footed long shot from outside the penalty area. His shot was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by Bremer. After picking up the loose ball, Rasmus Højlund took fired a right-footed follow-up shot from the right side of the box, but his shot went just wide of the bottom right corner of the post.

In the 77th minute, Juventus launched a deadly quick counter-attack. Juan Jesus misplaced a pass in his own back half, Fabio Miretti intercepted the ball and passes horizontally from the attacking third. Kenan Yıldız quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the left side of the box before volleying the ball into the bottom center of the net past the outrushing Meret with a left-footed shot, extending Juventus' lead to 2-0! With this goal, the Turkish international forward creates record by becoming the fifth player in Juventus' history to score against Napoli in both league matches in a single season!

9 minutes later, Thuram made a straight pass from near the midfield center circle. His pass was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by cleared by Buongiorno. After quickly followed up and upon picking up the loose ball, Filip Kostić adjusted his angle, before taking a left-footed long shot from outside the penalty area, which flew straight into the bottom right corner of the net. Juventus secured a 3-0 victory!

When the final whistle is blown, Juventus comprehensively defeated Napoli by 3-0.
