Valencia CF head coach Carlos Colberán analyzed and summarized the team's 3-2 victory over Espanyol in the post-match press conference.  

After the match, Valencia coach Carlos Colberán said: "Although the final result was unpredictable, this victory means a lot to our fans. We were eager to win three points for the fans and fill the Mestalla Stadium with passion, because it was the common wish of the whole team, including the players and staff, and I am very happy that we achieved this goal."  

"In interpreting this match, rather than focusing on individual players, it's more important to focus on the character and personality the team displayed during the most difficult and stressful period of the season, which makes me incredibly proud of this team. The situation is similar for the center-backs; they haven't been able to train normally this week. José Kopetz received two injections to prepare for the match, and he experienced back pain at the start of the game. I wasn't sure at the time whether he could continue playing."  

"Komert's situation is similar; he only trained for two days this week due to a hip or hamstring problem. I really appreciate the spirit the players have shown, which is exactly the way forward in difficult and uncertain circumstances. They are taking an important step for the whole team."
