The 28th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will feature a London derby, with Arsenal traveling to Stamford Bridge to challenge Chelsea. Manager Mikel Arteta stated that Kai Havertz will participate in training, but his availability for this crucial match remains to be seen.

With braces from Eze and Dzekeresh, Arsenal defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in the last round of the league. Returning to winning ways, Arsenal currently sit atop the table with 61 points, two points ahead of second-placed Manchester City, having played one more game.

When asked about the injury situation, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said, "There are no new developments at the moment. We will wait until the last training session before the match to see if one or two of the players who missed last week are available to play."

“We are hopeful that Max Doman will play for the U21s for a while. Havertz will participate in training, and then we will see if he is fit enough to play against Chelsea.”

Chelsea, meanwhile, are currently 6th in the standings with 45 points and are still on track to qualify for the Champions League.

Furthermore, Dzekeresh, 27, has scored 10 goals for Arsenal in the Premier League this season and 4 in the Champions League. Arteta commented, "Many things are interconnected. When you score your first goal, you perform better. When players spend more time with their teammates and understand the game, the opponents, and the league better, it all helps."

“We know Dzekeresh’s ability; he is undoubtedly an incredible striker. We need to support his abilities and understand him better. He also needs to understand the team and the league better, and I think we are on the right track.”
