The match against Wrexham ended in a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium. Manager Matti Cifuentes stated that a strong first-half performance alone wasn't enough to secure a home victory. Jordan James opened the scoring for Leicester City, his first goal for the club, but Nathan Broadhead equalized for Wrexham in the 77th minute.  

Leicester City's manager said a fourth consecutive draw in the Championship was disappointing and stressed the team must invest more to secure victory at Filbert Road.  

"It's a shame the result was so good," said Martí Cifuentes. "We started well but ultimately couldn't hold on to the three points. Compared to our previous performances where we gradually improved and gained positive results, today's situation was the complete opposite."  

"We played well in the first half, successfully breaking down the opponent's defense and controlling the game. In fact, their most dangerous chance in the first half came from a mistake on our part. This is inevitable, after all, football itself is a game full of mistakes."  

“I think our goal was fantastic. But at halftime, we realised we needed to score more. We had to maintain our lead and try to expand the score as much as possible. After all, in the Championship, the course of the game can change at any time, and it’s difficult to fully control the entire 90 minutes. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to improve our performance further in the second half, which is really disappointing.”  

The head coach added: "I'm very happy with the performance of all the players today. We made a few changes to the squad and brought in some new faces who did well to bring the changes we needed."  

“We had a lot of possession and created a lot of chances, but in the end we only managed one goal. With our current form and the energy we put into the final third, we should have performed better. This is something we have to address and improve on, as this result is really frustrating.”  

"In this league, we always have to give 110 percent, otherwise the opponent will take advantage of the opportunity, as has happened in the past. Despite this, I will remain positive. I understand that the fans feel the same disappointment as us today. After all, it is a pity not to get the three points."
