According to a report by the Italian media outlet Corriere della Sera on Saturday, AC Milan and Roma may compete for Joshua Zirkzee in the winter transfer window.
Born in Schiedam, Netherlands, the 24-year-old Zirkzee primarily plays as a center forward. He previously played for Bayern Munich, Parma, and Real Anderlecht, among other clubs, and began to make a name for himself after joining Bologna.
According to statistics, Zirkzee has made 58 appearances for Bologna, scoring 14 goals and providing 9 assists.
In July 2024, Zirkzee transferred to Manchester United for €42.5 million. However, his performance at Manchester United has been disappointing, contributing only 7 goals and 3 assists in 54 appearances across all competitions. As a result, Zirkzee lost the trust of Ronald Koeman, and his last appearance for the Dutch national team was a year ago.
