Wolves defender David Moller-Wolf made his debut in the gold and black shirt against Celta Vigo. While enjoying the victory, he can't wait to return to Molineux for the upcoming Premier League match.
Since officially joining Wolves a week ago, the Norwegian defender played 45 minutes in the final match of the summer. He is now making final preparations for his debut Premier League season. David Moller-Wolf said he is looking forward to the upcoming match against Manchester City at Molineux.
David Moller-Wolf said: "This feeling is incredible. I have been looking forward to wearing the Wolves jersey for a long time and now my dream has come true. The excitement of meeting the fans face to face for the first time is indescribable and I am extremely proud of this."
"With the fans present, this place will be even more charming. I believe that when the stands are full, the scene will be even more exciting."
Regarding being substituted at halftime, David Moller-Wolf explained: "Before the game we had agreed that I would only play 45 minutes because I hadn't played for a while. It's been about three to three and a half weeks, so there was no need to take a risk. However, I'm in very good shape now."
“If the head coach includes me in the starting lineup, I will always be ready to give my all. I am in excellent form now. Everyone inside and outside the club is warm and friendly. I feel very welcomed and valued, so I am in a very happy mood.”
"Jørgen Strand-Larsen is here to help me adapt quickly. I can ask him about the club's operations, team rules, etc."
"Also, many people in the club speak Spanish, and I grew up in Spain, so communication is very smooth, which is of great help to me. Now all I have to do is find a place to live and buy a car, and everything will be on track."
“I hope to step onto the pitch and show my abilities, but it will also take some time for me to fully adapt and feel confident in my current position, as it’s slightly different from the role I’ve played in the past few years. However, I think this position suits me very well, and once I’m in shape, I not only want to play and be a member of the team, but I’m eager to make a real contribution to the club.”
"I'm looking forward to my Premier League debut against Manchester City, and I'm sure every resident of Wolverhampton, and everyone who loves this city, is eagerly awaiting it."
