Premier League giants Liverpool travelled to Nissan Stadium for a friendly match and, despite leading by one goal, beat Yokohama F. Marinos 3-1 thanks to goals from Wirtz, Tre Nyoni and Ngumoha.

Three minutes into the match, Yokohama F. Marinos created an attacking opportunity. Jun Amano fired a side-hook shot from the penalty area, but the ball hit a teammate and went out of bounds.
