Liverpool will travel to Elland Road for a key match in the next round of the 2025/26 Premier League season to challenge Leeds United. In an interview, Isak stated that he hopes to deliver more outstanding performances for Liverpool, adding that even in difficult times, the team still has many goals to strive for.

The 26-year-old Swedish striker Isak joined Liverpool in September of this year and scored his first Premier League goal for Liverpool in the 13th round of the Premier League this season, helping Sloth's team defeat West Ham.

However, in the earlier 14th round of the league, Liverpool managed a 1-1 draw against Sunderland after Wirtz forced an own goal. Liverpool currently sits in 9th place in the standings with 22 points, having won 2, drawn 1, and lost 2 of their last 5 matches.

Liverpool striker Isak said: "Of course, this period has not been easy, both for me personally and for the team. Our recent results have not been ideal, and I certainly hope to do more, I think that's obvious."

"But we must stay positive, and so must I. We have a very good and united team, so we need to keep looking forward and work to make the team even better."

Isaac emphasized, "Of course I expect to do more, I always have. Even when I perform well, I want to do even better. So it's not a problem for me, I'm just trying to stay positive and strive for improvement, that's what I'm focused on right now."

“I know my own form better than anyone else. I know exactly when I play well and when I don’t. I don’t need anyone to tell me that, and it’s not a problem for me.”

In addition, Isak said, "As a player, or at least personally, I won't draw conclusions about my performance at this stage; that's something to do after the season ends. This season is still long, and we have many goals to strive for."
