Fulham Football Club officially announced that Joshua King has agreed a new 4-year contract with the club. The highly praised midfielder will continue to play for the club until June 30, 2029.
After completing the signing, Joshua King said in an interview: "To be honest, I am very happy. I have been playing for the club for about 13 years, which is a very long time. I feel very honored to stay in the team for another 4 years."
“I told my family that this place is like my second home and I feel very comfortable living here. Of course, I have met a lot of people, made a lot of friends and established valuable relationships, and I am very happy that this can continue.”
Tony Khan added: "I am delighted to announce that Joshua King has signed a long-term contract with Fulham, which will see him stay with the club until at least the summer of 2029. We are very pleased that Joshua King has signed a long-term contract with us and that we can cheer for Fulham together."
"Joshua King is a young player with great potential who has played for Fulham for a long time, with stable performance and continuous improvement. In August 2024, he made his senior team debut in the Carabao Cup against Birmingham City. In December of the same year, he made his Premier League debut in Fulham's home game against Brighton. This summer, he also performed well for the England U19 national team in the European Cup."
Joshua King continued to grow in the youth training stage, usually more than a year older than his peers. Last season, he successfully entered the senior group and made an important breakthrough.
Although Joshua King is only 18 years old, everyone at Fulham is very excited to see one of the country's most promising young players entrust his future to the club.
