The 16th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season will take place, with Fulham traveling to Moor Stadium to challenge Burnley. Marco Silva stated in an interview that his team will not overemphasize the upcoming schedule and will focus solely on the current match.

In the previous round of the Premier League, Fulham equalized after falling behind thanks to a goal from Harry Wilson, but then conceded another goal in the final stages of the match. Ultimately, Fulham lost 1-2 at home to Crystal Palace.

Currently, Fulham sits in 15th place in the standings with 17 points. Burnley, under Scott Parker, is in 19th place with 10 points, having lost 1-2 to Newcastle in their last league match.

Fulham manager Marco Silva said, "The game against Burnley is the most important thing because it's the next game, and all our focus is on Burnley. We've been preparing for this game and, as always, we've analyzed the last game. We know what we could have done differently in that game, to be more decisive and more lethal, and to get the result that deserved to be ours."

"We have another game coming up, and we know it will be a tough one. Our opponents are just as eager to win as we are. Playing away from home is always a difficult game, in every way, and we must be prepared for that."

Marco Silva also emphasized, "We can't think about the games after that in advance, because if we do, we'll get into trouble, so we have to focus all our attention on Burnley."

“Since joining this club, I have been trying to understand and learn about all the moments and challenges I will face. But as everyone says, almost every week when we look back at the statistics of past matches, the data is not ideal for us.”
