Sevilla head coach Matías Almeida commented on his team's fourth pre-season friendly match in Marseille, which ended in a 1-1 draw.  

Matías Almeida said: "We are growing as a team. Today we faced an opponent with Champions League quality, and this style of play is something I personally admire very much. Facing such a strong opponent, we showed an excellent performance."  

"The tactical focus we developed was to contain the opponent's offense. I really enjoyed the second half. The outstanding performances of many young players also boosted their confidence."  

“With two days left until the game, we must ensure that every player is well taken care of and in top condition for Monday. We have been training hard recently and the intensity of the games has been high, but the team has implemented our tactical philosophy well. We are constantly growing as a team, getting to know each other, and increasingly agreeing with this philosophy. I am very pleased to be able to coach such a group of high-level players.”  

“In training and tactical preparation, we always consider various possible scenarios. I expect every player to give their all on the field, regardless of their own limitations.
