Bochum announced on its official website on Thursday that the club will part ways with its veteran French captain Anthony Losilla and veteran Costa Rica international defender Cristian Gamboa at the end of the season.
According to Bochum's official statement, the club is very grateful for the contributions made by the two veterans to the team in the past and wishes them all the best in the future.
However, as this season has not yet ended, Bochum will wait until the end of the season to announce the future of the two for sporting considerations.
Although the two sides are about to end their relationship, in order to praise and commemorate the two veterans who have played for the club for 11 and 6 years respectively, Bochum will hold a grand farewell party and testimonial match for the two in September this year.
About Anthony Losilla
Anthony Losilla, 39, was born in Firminy, France on March 10, 1986. He is 1.85 meters tall and primarily plays as a defensive midfielder, but can also play as a center back.
Losilla joined the youth academy of his local non-league in Firminy at a young age. At the age of 8, he joined the youth academy of Saint-Etienne and began to play for the Saint-Etienne B team in 2004.
From the summer of 2006 to the summer of 2014, Losilla joined Cannes, Laval, Paris FC and Dynamo Dresden successively as a free agent.

Gamboa played for his hometown club Municipal Liberia when he was a child. In the summer of 2010, he joined Fredrikstad as a free agent, and began plying his trade in Europe ever since.
In August of the following year, Gamboa joined København for €30,000, but was immediately loaned-out to Rosenborg, and his ownership was later bought out by the latter in January 2013.
In July 2014, Gamboa joined West Bromwich Albion for £2 million, but he did not get a chance to play with the Baggies.
On the 2016 summer transfer window deadline day, Gamboa joined Celtic for £1.5 million.
During his three-year spell with the Bhoys, Gamboa completed the Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup and Scottish Cup Treble once with the club.
After leaving the club at the end of his contract in 2019, Gamboa moved to Bochum as a free agent.
