Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Leeds United to sign 24-year-old winger Raggi Ramazzani, who will join the Mestalla on loan for the 2025-26 season. Ramazzani's arrival will bring pace, unpredictability, and vertical attacking ability to the team, enabling him to accelerate the attack and create a threat in the penalty area from various positions.
Raggi Ramazani is a Belgian youth international who completed his youth training at Royal Anderlecht and Charlton Athletic. He signed for Manchester United in 2017 and made his debut before joining Almeria in 2020.
In Spain, Raggi Ramazani showed his potential through goals and assists, and he performed well in more than 100 games until he was signed by Leeds United in 2024. Last season, the Belgian striker played 31 times for Leeds United, scored 7 goals and contributed 2 assists, helping the team return to the Premier League.
After confirming his move to Valencia CF, Raj Ramazani gave an interview to the club's media. He said: "I've been performing well recently and I'm very happy. I'm also looking forward to starting a new chapter. I've been deeply impressed by the club, the coach, the team, the stadium, and the city of Valencia."
"My communication with the coach gives me confidence. I am very happy and enjoy the trust that someone has in me. I think the coach's trust is very important for players. With this trust, players can continue to improve themselves."
"Also, I'm a versatile player with my own unique qualities in dribbling, speed, and awareness. I've scored quite a few goals with my left foot, but it doesn't matter which foot I use. I'm better on the right, but I can play on both sides. I've worked with many of the players here and know them very well. I hope to help the team win games and get us to the top. I think Valencia is one of the best clubs in Spain."
"Finally, I have to say that the fans are passionate and admirable. They always cheer for the team. I have played at the Mestalla Stadium twice, and those games were very difficult. Having the support of the fans gave me great strength and confidence. The stadium environment is great, and I see that the fans have a very close relationship with each other, which I love. I will tell the fans that we will do our best to make them proud, and I look forward to seeing them on the pitch."
