Despite an outstanding performance in the 2024-25 Premier League season, Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri values his contribution to the team more than personal honors.  

Rayan Ait-Nouri was the Wolves' longest-playing player last season, missing only one Premier League game due to suspension. This game was also Vitor Pereira's debut for the club. He contributed 5 goals and 7 assists to the team, creating a career-high offensive performance.  

The defender has become one of Vitor Pereira's longest-serving players, having just completed his fifth season with the club, and he admits that his work off the pitch has helped him excel in his game as he matures as a player.  

Rayan Ait-Nouri said: "It was a bit difficult at the beginning and we went through a lot of challenges. But then the team played a wonderful performance and created an unprecedented six-game winning streak in Wolves' history. Although it was a difficult start, we finally ended the season with very good results. It feels like a complete and successful season."  

"To be honest, we were full of confidence at the start of the season because we knew the team very well and knew we had many good players. Under Gary O'Neill's leadership, we had many unforgettable moments. Later, new head coach Vitor Pereira took over and he performed well and had a positive impact on the team."  

"It was a bit bumpy at the start, but it's all our players' fault. I won't blame anyone but myself. After all, this is what we as players should take on. But we also did a lot of good things. For me, I was always confident at the beginning of the season because I knew the strength of our team."  

"I don't care much about personal data, the most important thing is the team. I will always work hard for the team and give everything, because this is the most important thing. When you give your whole heart to the team, the coach and the fans, you can experience your own wonderful moments."  

Rayan Ait-Nouri also said: "There have been many good moments this year, but for me, the most important thing is the team. We found a great team and then had a lot of good times. I am really happy, but the most important thing is the team. I am happy for our team."  

"I tried my best to play my style, stay confident and give my all for everyone on the team."  

"I also stay professional off the court because nutrition and sleep are key. I put a lot of effort into that and I've seen it help me this season and I've been able to play a lot of games."  

"For me, this is a positive sign because I am eager to play in every game. As long as the coach lets me play, I will give my all and play my best."  

"I will be playing in a few matches with the national team, including some friendlies, which will be a good experience. At the same time, the weather will change and I plan to enjoy some sunshine and try to spend this time with my family. After a long season, I really need a good rest."
