Tolu Arokdare believes that Wolves' numerous missed opportunities in Saturday's Premier League home game against Bournemouth were key to their eventual defeat. Although Bournemouth scored twice from limited chances, Wolves squandered several excellent opportunities, and Arokdare himself, with a bit more luck, could have even had a hat-trick, as several of his shots were brilliantly saved by Bournemouth goalkeeper Jorge Petrovic.  

Despite his disappointment at not finishing decisively in the final moments of the match, Nigerian player Tolu Arokdare maintained that Wolves are striving for trophies in this challenging season. He said, "You could say Bournemouth were better at finishing their chances. But I don't want to praise them too much. I think we played better, it's just that obviously they won the game."  

“I don’t want to discuss the team’s performance; I just want to talk about myself. I feel I could have done better in terms of finishing; I should have been more decisive. I think that might be one of the reasons we lost the game.”  

“Not only in the second half, but we also started well. We played well in the first 15 minutes, but then lost our rhythm a little and the opponent took the opportunity to score. In the second half, we tried to play better at the beginning and end, but we didn’t take our chances, which ultimately led to the loss.”  

"Although we have improved in the games, the results have not met expectations, which is exactly the problem we have been working hard to solve. Since the start of the season, the team has performed well and defended very well, but we have not scored enough goals and the results have not been ideal. Nevertheless, this is still something we need to continue to work on, and we will continue to put in the effort, hoping that the situation will improve."  

"Our goal has always been to win every game. We've only won one game so far, which is obviously far from enough, and we know that ourselves. We hope to win every game, even though reality is sometimes different from our wishes. But we will not give up and will continue to strive for three points in every game."
