In order to cope with the challenges of the new season in better condition, the "Red and Black Army" AC Milan has actively engaged in pre-season preparations. Tomori said that the team's goal in the new season is to qualify for the Champions League and will do everything possible to win the championship.

In the 2024/25 Serie A season, AC Milan only finished 8th and therefore missed the UEFA Champions League in the new season. At the end of May, Allegri was appointed as the new head coach of AC Milan.

AC Milan defender Tomori, 27, said, “Last season’s performance did not meet our expectations. We should certainly perform better. But we have to look forward and go all out to prepare for the new season. Pre-season preparations are very difficult, but we have been moving in the right direction, learning new things and adapting to the new tactical system.”

"We worked on how to defend better in training, including passing and high pressing. This was a good test for us and we can apply these training results in the game."

In addition, AC Milan will face Cremona at the San Siro Stadium in the first round of the 2025/26 Serie A season.

Tomori said, “We hope to get off to a good start in the new season and qualify for the Champions League because this is the position AC Milan must be in. We will do our best to win every game and try to win the trophy.”

“It’s a different feeling to have the World Cup in the middle of the season, but I’m focused on AC Milan and hopefully having a good performance while we continue to improve as a team and as individuals.”

On the other hand, AC Milan will face Premier League giants Arsenal in a friendly match.

Tomori said, “We all know that Arsenal is a very strong team. We hope to have a good performance against every opponent and prepare for the new season. We are training hard and are ready for this game.”
