Despite a hard-fought seven-goal defeat at Molineux Stadium, Wolves manager Vitor Pereira believes the team's fighting spirit in the second half will be a crucial turning point in their season. Pereira made significant changes to the starting lineup from the match against Burnley four days earlier to cope with the congested schedule, and the team's chaotic first-half performance left them on the back foot.  

Although Tolu Arokdare scored a brilliant goal and David Moller-Wolf also netted twice, Wolves' counter-attacks ultimately failed to reverse the situation. After the match, manager Vitor Pereira stated that if the team can maintain their second-half performance in the league, especially starting from Saturday's game against Fulham, they have a chance to bounce back in the standings.  

After the match, Vitor Pereira bluntly stated that the team's performance was unsatisfactory. He said, "The second half was very bad. After conceding the first goal in the first half, the players seemed a bit flustered, and then we conceded two more goals in a row. I have to take responsibility for this result."  

"We made significant personnel changes for this match, fielding 11 players who hadn't played together for a long time, which caused some difficulties in coordination and game rhythm. At halftime, I told the players that I would take responsibility for everything, but at the same time, I wanted to see the team's cohesion, tactical execution, and team spirit. In the second half, we dominated with a score of 3-1. Although conceding a goal was regrettable, we had opportunities to extend our lead, and this victory was well-deserved."
